Welcome to the site of the TransCanada Province of the Spiritans. We are a Roman Catholic Religious Congregation of over three thousand members, founded in 1703. Our missions are spread worldwide. While we may be found involved in many diverse ministries, we have dedicated ourselves to working with the poor and in those situations where the Church has difficulty in finding ministers. The Holy Spirit Union The Holy Spirit Union is made up of people from all backgrounds and walks of life who wish to promote devotion to the Holy Spirit, that is the Spirit of the living God at work in our lives and in the world. Our members also try to help in any way possible in the mission of the Spiritans. MEMBERSHIP 1) Membership is open to all Christians. 2) Members' names will be recorded in our Holy Spirit Union membership book located at our Provincial Offices. 3) Members will receive a Holy Spirit Union card and information regarding the duties of membership. DUTIES OF MEMBERS 1)Spread devotion to God the Holy Spirit. 2) Pray daily to God through the Spirit, such as "Come Holy Spirit, inflame the hearts of all people with the fire of your love". 3) Assist the Spiritans in any way possible through contributions of the gifts of time and talent.
